VIBRANT & ENGAGING
dance tuition
NFAD is Lymington’s longest standing dance school providing vibrant, engaging tuition for children aged 2-18.
With highly experienced teachers who’s primary focus is the physical & mental wellbeing if all students you can be reassured your dancer or performer will be getting the best education & training!
Run by Principal Kayleigh Sargeant, New Forest Academy of Dance is dedicated to offering Dance and Musical Theatre classes to all ages in a fun, positive and inspiring environment.
LEARN WITH
confidence
Our aim is to bring the joy of dancing and theatre into the studio and give everyone the opportunity to learn and perform with confidence, whether a student attends once weekly for fun or is considering dance and theatre as a career, the skills acquired in class will be incorporated into many aspects of their lives.
Building confidence, self discipline, promoting team work as well as being able to work individually, we help students
unleash their full potential.
Unleash your
full potential
Examinations are offered to aid education. They are a great way for students to attain personal goals and to have fun while also receiving recognition from some of the world’s largest examining bodies. The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) accredit these qualifications. Exams are not compulsory. We also offer opportunities to perform locally as well as in our school shows.
At New Forest Academy of Dance all of our teachers are fully qualified. We spend many years gaining the experience and teaching skills to be able to proudly say that we are qualified and continue our education with our societies by completing our continued professional development and training beyond the expectations of these recognised bodies. Our staff are DBS checked, First Aid trained and fully insured.
DANCE & SPORT INJURY
specialist rehabilitation
As an addition to NFAD services in Dance Training, we are pleased to announce our Dance & Sports Injury Clinic, with a “specialism" in young people’s musculoskeletal injuries (Paediatrics). With years of dance training and teaching experience we know how and why injuries occur. This is in association with Philip Cutts School of Dance and Sport Medicine.
Therefore our clinic is not only for injury treatment and rehabilitation, but also for exercise education and injury prevention. As “Musculoskeletal Dance Therapists" we treat and advise from the small bones in the feet, to the largest muscles in your back.
