Kayleigh, who is a local girl, started Ballet at the age of 2. Soon taking up Modern and Tap lessons. At the age of 12 Kayleigh became a teaching assistant for younger classes and this is where she found her love for teaching dance. After leaving school she went to study at Roynon Dance Centre in Southampton where she gained her Diploma in Dance Education in Ballet, Tap & Modern. She then went on to train with the Royal Academy of Dance completing her CBTS (Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies) to gain registered teacher status. Kayleigh has taught in various schools in the Bournemouth and New Forest area as well as taking guest workshops in London and Guernsey. Kayleigh is also a certified tutor for Progressing Ballet Technique classes. Kayleigh loves teaching and hopes to pass on her passion for dance to budding enthusiasts to help them achieve their goals and ambitions. Since taking over the school in 2015 the school has grown in size and success, in November 2016 Kayleigh was Awarded the Young Person in Business Award at the New Forest Brilliance in Business awards run by New Forest Business Partnership, Making ourselves more known in the area supporting local events and raising money for community projects. Producing Bi annual shows and other performances Kayleigh offers opportunities for students to showcase their achievements and build confidence to perform helping students learn more than just the techniques of the arts which can be used in everyday life! Kayleigh is very passionate about ensuring all students achieve their best in a fun and nurturing atmosphere, keeping classes fun and engaging for all.

Born in East London, Walthamstow in 1993. At the age of 4 Jemma started Ballet and Tap classes. In 2003 she moved to the New Forest and started dancing at the New Forest Academy of Dance, where she has trained ever since. In 2005 Jemma started Priestlands School where she took part in a number of productions such as "Oliver" and "Under Milk Wood", also taking part in Global Rock Challenge representing Priestlands against 13 other schools around the country. Between 2010 - 2012 she studied Dance and Performance Studies at Brockenhurst College. Then in 2016 Jemma completed her teacher training with the Royal Academy of Dance and has been teaching weekly at NFAD and is very popular with our younger students. Dancing has always been a big part of her life and wants to help others enjoy it as much as she has.

Musical Theatre Teacher
Abi first found a love for music while attending Brockenhurst Primary School. It was here that she started learning recorder, violin and guitar and later piano. At Brockenhurst college she gained three A levels in Music, Theatre Studies and English Literature. Abi studied music and teaching at Reading University while also teaching violin part time. After qualifying from university Abi lived for a Year in New Zealand where she started to explore singing in various clubs and bars and at weddings and parties. When she returned to England she continued to play folk and pop songs with her brother in local pubs and travelled the south coast performing at Weddings and parties. She started her career as a primary school teacher in 2003 at Lymington Junior school. After Some peripatetic teaching for Southampton music service and two years at a school in Southampton she then started teaching Junior subjects at Walhampton school. When Abi had her first daughter she taught music in Walhampton’s Pre Prep. Here she taught classroom music as well as recorder groups, choirs and violin groups for nine years. After Abi had her third daughter she decided to dedicate some time to her daughters, husband and family home. Now that her youngest has started school she is very excited to get her teeth into a new teaching role.
Guest repertoire and Ballet Teacher
Kevin started ballet at a young age at a local dance school. After being offered a place he trained at the Royal Ballet School, and Elmhurst Ballet School before embarking on an extensive performing career, with various dance companies all over the world. Then training as a fitness instructor and personal trainer. Kevin runs fitness studios in London and the New Forest, as well as The Great Fitness Escape for dance and fitness inspired breaks. Kevin is passionate about dance. Making classes fun and inspiring for all. Kevin specialises in repertoire, conditioning and vocational/adult ballet classes.
Stephanie Constantine - Smith

Guest and Cover Ballet Teacher
Stephanie trained at The London Studio Centre, where she studied most dance disciplines but mainly Ballet and Contemporary. After graduating, she danced with contemporary dance companies before moving into teaching. She became Principal of her own dance school in Leicester, was Head of Dance at the YMCA Leicester and taught GCSE and A Level Dance in schools. Her choreography includes productions of The Boyfriend, Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, The Nutcracker, West Side Story, Beauty & the Beast and My Fair Lady. She has also choreographed for TV, fashion shows and many dance school shows. Stephanie went on to study at the Benesh Institute to learn Choreology (the written form of dance) and after graduating she gained the Teaching Diploma in Benesh Movement Notation. She has taught Benesh at professional dance colleges, has been a Distant Learning Tutor for The Benesh Institute, and has held lectures in Benesh Notation for the Royal Academy of Dance. She recently led Benesh Notation classes for some students at NFAD for the trial exams for Benesh International. She has the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies with the Royal Academy of Dance and has Registered Teacher Status. She is also a Silver Swans licensee.
