Bringing Dance to Life in Pre-Schools and the Wider Community
At the New Forest Academy of Dance, we believe that dance should be joyful, accessible — and available to every child, wherever they are.
That’s why our teachers don’t just work in the studio — they also head out into the community to deliver engaging, movement-based sessions in local pre-schools, nurseries, and other early years settings across the New Forest area.
These sessions are specially designed for children aged 2½–4, and blend music, rhythm, storytelling and imagination to create a magical experience that supports early years development. They’re often built around a theme chosen by the setting — from jungle animals and fairy tales to seasonal celebrations — with plenty of room for creativity and fun.
Delivered in the familiar environment of their own setting, these sessions help even the youngest dancers to move with confidence, express themselves freely, and build a lifelong love of dance and movement.
We’re proud to partner with so many fantastic local nurseries and pre-schools, and are always open to working with new settings who would like to explore adding dance to their enrichment offer.
If you work in an early years setting or community space and would like to find out more, we’d love to hear from you.
